Stop Press! “On the 27th of July the OFT announced that it would be proceeding with a test case with regards to unauthorised overdraft charges against several of the major high street banks, the Financial Ombudsman in conjunction with the Financial Services Authority have agreed to give the banks a “Waiver” which in effect puts all current claims on hold until the outcome of the case has been concluded..
